Today my friend and I did a game on a website called Hour Of Code. My friend and I had a great time playing Mystery Island Coding Quest off hour of code. While playing this game my friend and I found this game very very challenging and also when we found out it was for 8 graders. After playing this game I realised that I can do extra stuff such as task that will make me better at doing Hour Of Code. To get better at Hour of code I need to think out of the box. Here is my certificate for completing a game of Hour Of Code !

Prototec Test !
Today I got 38 out of 40 on my test which means I got 2 wrong basically. I am proud of what I got and I know what to do or learn to improve my work in this test, but I am super proud of what I got. To try get 40 out of 40 I need to think more and try focus harder. I love what I have got, but I know that I can improve more and I can get a better score then what I got.

Day #7 Bonus Activity "Thank You"
On the great road I realised that I had an amazing time with my group and curious Kiwi. I loved our road trip and I like visiting Rangitoto and Golden Bay, but it was very sad because the poor whales surrounded on Farewell Spit beach or bay. I loved my mysterious adventure especially when I had to survive in the woods without anything besides a camera and a fruit. Anyway I really enjoyed my adventure and I learned a lot of knowledge. I learned a lot of Otago Railway and a lot of Lorde. By the way I loved the Winter Learning Journey. Thank You and I hope the animations tells you exactly what I mean, once again "Thank You".

Day #6 Activity 1 Winter Learning Journey
As the people and I approached Shag Point we looked amazed. We took a glance of the place we felt like there was no people living here so we felt as we were at home. As we gently got out of the Waka we allowed our feet to soak in the sand well as the others had fun in the sea. The people and I will feel great because we love interesting stuff that is newly.

Day #5 Activity #3 Bonus Activity Winter Learning Journey
I would love to ride my bike on the Otago Central Rail because it sounds and looks really interesting. I have never ever been to Otago Central Rail and I like trying stuff that is super new to me. It will be even better if you went with your family because you get to have more time with them and you can make amazing valuable memories.
Day #5 Activity #2 Winter Learning Journey
The person that I chose was was Lorde.
Lorde was born in Takapuna, Auckland and she is 20 years old. She was born in the 7 of November 1996. She is famous because she is a amazing famous singer. She owns 32 songs and most of them has been on movie premieres such as Hunger Games. 2 interesting facts about Lorde is that her real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor and she scored her first recording contract when she was just 13 years old. I admire Lorde because I would like to be a famous singer just like her.

Day #5 Activity 1 Winter Learning Journery
As I slowly turned back Curious Kiwi was not there. I started to freeze because I was frightened and I didn't have a clue what to do. Then I stop shaking a put my courage together and began to head to South. Then as I started struggling to find the right way I saw the sun begging to set. I had know idea what to do so I hustled and searched the place for sticks before the darkness hit the sky. After that I grabbed giant leaves and built a massive shelter for me to rest. "Chrip chirp" squeaked the bird as it began to fly. I jumped up and also began to walk straight. I just remembered that I left a camera and a fruit. On the amazing adventure I saw some native beautiful animals such as birds. The birds wanted some of my fruit, but I didn't have a knife so I pulled a stick and grated on the ground until is got into the right shape. I also took some brilliant photos of the beautiful plants, the native animals and I. Thereafter I had to leave to get going then found water. I had a little swim then I found a Hector Dolphin. Most people said that "it is difficult to find a Hector Dolphin", and I felt proud and happy because I found a Hector Dolphin. I took dozen and dozen more photos of the dolphin, then I finally got used to the wild. I started stay there longer and longer for maybe about a week, but then Kiwi and my group finally found me so then we headed back home.

Day #4 Bonus Activity 11.7.17
I strongly believe that people of Farewell Spit actually everybody should not fish there because their are native and rarely animals. It will be very hurt because those type of animals can be only found or saw in New Zealand, so others and I suppose people should not fish around the Farewell Spit. In this photo there is a poor baby hector dolphin if you don't want this to happen please don't fish at the area.
Day #4 Activity #2 Winter Learning Journey- Trailers 1-2
The Whale Rider
So Whale Rider is based on a really unique girl named Paikea. At the begging of there birth something very emotional happened. While the mother was giving birth Paikea's brother had died. They were twins and the grandfather of the twins was proud because he thought that both of the twins made it, but sadly 1 didn't. The grandfather expected the boy out of the twins to make it because the first born gets to ride on the beautiful whale, but also sadly the whale rider must be a boy because it ran through their family just like that. Trailer 1 of Whale Rider I rate it 5 100% because I have never seen Whale Rider and when I watched the video I felt amazing like I watched it. Trailer 2, I think it was kinda the same, but I still rate it 5 because I love the way how it was presented. Those videos kinda explained the whole Whale Rider story. I love Whale Rider even though I have not watched.
Day #4 Activity 1 Winter Learning Journey
This is what the amazing people of Farewell Spit did to the poor 300 whales that got stranded on Golden Bay. As the people of Farewell spit came closer and closer the the bay they could see birds peking on the whales back and they could see blood everywhere. Some of the poor whales died, but some was still lucky enough to have a life because they survived.
Before
&
After
The people of Farewell Spit brought all sort of things that will help keep the whales wet and hydrated. People got buckets and filled it up with water water and spilled on the poor whales. Others sat there and shooed the birds and the rest got different type of fabric, wet it and place it gently on top of the hurt whales. They also put a dry cloth in their blow hole, so water wouldn't get inside. Thereafter they dug a hole so the painful whales lied straight instead of sidewards. If the whales could talk they would thank the amazing brave people that helped them while they were aching.

Day #3 Activity# 2 Winter Learning Journey 10.7.17
I highly suggest that we people of New Zealand should have New Zealand pest free. I have 3 reasons why we should have New Zealand pest free.
1.We should not have pest such as possums because they can kill all the beautiful native birds that live in Aotearoa.
2.Rats should not be in Aotearoa because they can chew through chords and wires and that can cause danger from electricity.
3. Pest like termites shouldn't live in Aotearoa because they can chew through your house and damage everything.

Day #3 Activity 1 Winter Learning Journey 10.7.17
Basically my pet that I've adopt was a Red Crowned Parakeet. A Red Crowned Parakeet is a is New Zealand native bird that means it is proudly from New Zealand. Red Crowned Parakeet has many places where they rest, live, hunt for their food or spreed their wings. Most of the birds stay around huge areas such as open parks, temperate rainforests, coastal forests, forest edges and a whole lot more places. Red Crowned Parakeet's diet(food) is most stuff the surrounds the forest because that is where their habitat is. They consume flowers, fruit, seeds, leaves and buds from a variety plant. In summer and Autumn they normally eat seeds and when it is Winter and Spring they eat flowers because that is when the flowers bloom. The Red Crowned Parakeet type is a Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae highly known as a Kakariki the Maori name of the bird.
