Collaborative Problem Solving 29.03.19

Today as our usual Friday morning we had Collaborative Problem Solving. Its a Friday morning where we basically split up in to groups and solve problems together. Today I created a DLO based off it, and all the problems answer in may way and words. I found tasks like this very easy, yet I know I can improve on something. I could improve on trying to help others and try to finish as much work as I can.

Math Playground~

Today, In the I played this game called Math Playground. This site was based off converting Fractions To Percentages, so I found it easy. I also found this task very easy to do because I have learnt the strategy.  If you want to use this site

Substitution Grids~

As a task I did a Substitution grid. I really enjoy tasks like these because they are very fun and very helpful. I found a task like this very easy because I have had experience doing a Substitution grids in the past.

Brilliant Math~

Brilliant Math is also a daily task students in Room 6 are expected to do. I again did another question which was part of the logic section. I found or identified the answer by reading and understanding very carefully. I highly suggest using Brilliant Math, if you want to strive to be the best you can be in learning or logic this is the site.

Training Your Brain~

So as a tasks I did Train My Brain. I picked this problem because I found it very interesting. So how I figured out my answer, I sort it out as a table basically. The problem read that Tom starts spending $2 starting from Monday, yet Tia earns $2.50 starting from Monday as well. The problem reads how long will it be before Tia will have more money than Tom. Using my strategy she has more money by Friday.

To start off our morning here in Room 6, I tried this new site. This site contains questions and practice based off probability. In group 1 our topic has been based of probability if you haven't known yet. In this picture the question is asking what is the probability for the factor of 6. My answer again was 2/3 which turned out to be correct.

Today in class my group and I were playing a game based probability. In this task I had to solve the probability of the fractions given based off the problem.  For example~ so 4/10 would be a poor chance, yet still a chance. It is 4 out of 10 which is lower than 5, again half of 10. 

Free Rice~

Free Rice, again as I speak or say. If you want to improve on your vocabulary, times tables and many more Free Rice is a great site for you. I have been using this site for a very long time and for me to say it helps to improve. For every right answer you get 10 grams of Rice gets donated to stop World Hunger. This site is killing 2 birds with one stone(not legit), what I mean is you learn, yet also help the Hungry People around the world.

E-Reading

Figurative Language is known to be taught in our class. As a year 7 and 8 class we are expected to improve in all learning areas. This site helps you practice Figurative Language such as Idioms. Tasks like these were not really hard, all it took was concentration and listening.

Today after school, I was trying to complete my tasks this was one of them. In this DLO I was asked or told to at least do 3 task based off the story. I put all of my 3 tasks in the same slides to make mines and others lives easier.

GI Sewing Class 2019 #Week 8

Today is known to be Week 8 for us. In tech class, my group and I had 10 mins each at first to get what we could done, by all means sewing. I found this task very easy and fun due to me putting 100% effort. If I could find something for my class to improve on will be to have correct attitude and behavior.  Thank You👍

Trying to see if I remember my times table, I tried this fun site. This site sees how fast you can answer the times table. I found this site very fun and easy, because I know my tables. I can try improve by answering a little bit faster, and trying to aim for a better and faster score.

Today, I put my memory to the test using this site. I tried this site called hit the button, which testes me if I know or remember my times tables, doubles or halves. I tried times tables, yet got a perfect score. If you want to put your memory for times to the test I suggest this site.

Mental Math

Today, I had a try at a site called Mental Math. I was told to play level advance, so I found it a little bit difficult. I also found it difficult because you were being timed, so I was to pressured. I could improve by thinking and taking my time a bit.

Today, as another task I had a try at brilliant maths again. Brilliant Maths is a site where you can improve in any learning areas. I try logic questions, because I know I can try improve. I found this loic question very easy, all I had to do was read and understand properly. I highly recommend this site if you want to improve your learning.

Today in class as a task we were asked as our daily routine to do Math Trainer. Math Trainer is a site to test how fast you can answer the questions. It also compares how fast you answer to people from where you stay or live.

Free Rice

As year 7/8s students, we are expected to have or improve in your vocabulary. As a task, I again was asked to play free rice and improve, very well in vocab.  Free rice, again is known to be a site, where you improve yet also give.  If you are trying to work on your vocab, or times table this will be the perfect site for you. 

GI Sewing Class 2019

Today in class, we again practiced in our groups for sewing lines. I sewed pretty well for the straight lines, but the others not really. Even though there were some hardships, I found this task or doing very fun. Everybody in my group participated in this activity which was very good. If I could work on something it will be to try sew in straight lines. Next week our plans are to try sew are cushions.

Today, I again went ahead and tried out brilliant maths. I chose to do Riddles and Logic, because I find them very interesting. Brilliant maths is a site I highly suggest for you to use. Anyways I found this task, very easy because I had to read and understand care fully.

Today in class, known as one of my math tasks I had to complete a Substitution Grid. I found this task very easy, due to me trying me best. The value in this grid was known to be 7. So 7 basically replaced X in the problem.

For not playing for a long time, I had a try at free rice. This site is a site that will help you to improve in your learning areas. For example, I recently tried the vocabulary type, to try and improve. There are learning areas you can improve on this site.

Today, for trying to complete task this is one. In this task I had a try at the game, called Math Trainer. I found this task very easy, yet know I should try improve. To improve I think I should try to answer faster. To basically play the game, you need to try answer as fast as you can.

Today, I found a new site, to have a try at. I found using this site, was very fun and easy. I found this tak very easy because I know all my time tables. If I could improve, I would try answer a bit faster. But for my results I'm very proud.

Today, I was trying my best to complete my maths tasks and these are one of them. In this task, I had to find out if I were to multiply the question with more 8s, more 1s would appear in the answer for the question. I found this pretty easy, due to me already completing this task. Of I could work on something it would be to find a new and better rule to explain my problem.

Today, I tried finishing my maths task for today. One of my tasks were to do a DLO based off Division in Parts. I found this task super easy, because I have created many DLOs based off this topic. If I had to rate how I went I would rate myself a 5/5. I had no struggles, and did put in the effort.

Week 7 Straight Line Sewing 2019

Today in tech class, our tasked today was to try sew in a straight line. My attempts went fine, so did my other friends did. I found this task very fun and easy to do, and a thing I could work on more would be to try be more confident, to sew more lines.

Today in room 6, we did a our daily routine and started off with Collaborative Problem Solving. I again worked by myself, yet pushed myself to do all problems. In this DLO I did the following problems Challenge, Extension, Super Challenge & SUPER SUPER Challenge. I would at least try find something to improve on.
