Words of advice :) + Lockdown thoughts

Kia Ora, to everyone who reads my blogs. To be honest at some point of my life I thought blogs and blogging in general were a complete waste of time. I thought that blogging knowing that not many people read, is weird and to be honest, very dumb. However my thoughts have changed due to the reason that I blog to cure my boredom and not because it is expected.

I know everyone goes through the "lockdown phase". Where you find yourself feeling very down, for no reason. You don't have the motivation to go to class or work meetings, the feel to complete work. Normally with this feeling, speaking from personal experiences, I find myself isolating from other people. I shut others out for days, weeks, and even months. I don't attend classes nor do I complete the work. All I do is exceed due dates and feel completely bad for myself. Today marks the very many days where I take action for change. If this relates to you, don't you worry. Yes, we are going through tough times and it's hard however we can only focus on one thing. Instead of damaging yourself for not doing anything productive, you can do small things that make a difference. Instead of self destructing because you missed your meetings, take a breather to calm down. Realise the situation and acknowledge where you messed up and carry on with your day. It's easier said being done, but once you trust this process you will feel yourself more at ease. If you don't end up feeling well, I attached some wholesome animals facts below. Check them out :)

I'm rooting for you - M

Your blog post made me smile.
Lockdown can be tough! Everyone in Auckland who is staying at home and abiding by the rules is doing a fantastic job for our whole country.
Good on you for writing a fun post. It’s inspiring and uplifting, and I’m sure it will help other readers, especially those also in lockdown. We’re all in this together, a team of five million. Check out the amazing power of teamwork

I live in Northland, so fortunately for us, we're in level 2, so I feel for you and your whānau. We need people like you to spread positivity and kindness.

By the way, I never heard about otters holding hands, but maybe they do. They are adorable creatures. Did you know that foals are born with “fairy fingers” or eponychium that drop off within 24 hours? It is a thing. You can read more about it here.

Kia kaha Mafi, keep up the good work.
