Similarities

1. You sleep in it.
2. You also store food in it.


Differences

1. It is not a guest house
2. Its nots a guest house but there are always guests in our home, we love hosting families

    That's very true, a wharepuni is built for having guests and visitors and our houses are usually built for a family to live in, but we often choose to have guests because we enjoy it. At my house we like to host people too. So I guess they are quite similar in that way :)

    Have you been to a wahrepuni or marae before? It's quite cool to be welcomed on and experience some of the Maori traditions.

    That's very cool, which marae did you go to? I've been to a marae in Hamilton and stayed over with some friends. I really enjoyed it.
