1. On the 24 or 25th of June 500 elderly Maori people from around the country were welcomed to Te Papa, Wellington's largest museum because they were holding a massive celebration based on Matariki.
2. On Friday the 15th of June 2017 Te Papa held it's first Matariki celebration. People from Aotearoa started coming together to share basically what has been revolving their life such as stories, celebrating life and those who passed in the last year.
3.Maori and non Maori people also come together to discuss about how the world has been seen in many different ways and from many different cultures.
