3 September: Britain, France, New Zealand and Australia declare war on Germany.
I think this moment is significant because it is a sign of teamwork. All 4 countries fighted Germany. Not to mention one of those 4 countries who did a awesome job are New Zealand our homeland, and town.
5 September:
First New Zealander, a flying officer with RAF, taken prisoner of war.
South Africa declares war on Germany
I also think that this is another great memory because it says First NZer a flying officer with Royal Air Force, and taken prisoner of war. Then Africa creates a war on Germany.
