do to celebrate special

specific place? In our
house, we usually make
a pizza and bake a
special cake. What
about you?
Normally in our family if one of our family member turn a special age we offer a key with a picture of them, such as the ages of 1, 16, 18, 21, 50, 100 and a whole lot more the way your family celebrates. We bake a lot of food on how the person is turning. Then we go get 3 cake from the cheesecake shop, and 2 baked. Knowing I love my mums trifle, and birthday is coming up soon. As you can see in the photo, the key, the 1 you take it out and replace it with a photo. Then you get somebody to carve what you want to say on the key.

ReplyDeleteWow, it sounds like you and your whanau know how to celebrate. Does that mean you have 5 cakes for someones birthday? That is incredible! These keys are absolutely beautiful aren't they. When my friends were turning 21, their family would often have a key like this engraved as well. It is such a special moment to receive a key. Have you got a key like this?
When my family celebrates we often go out for dinner or make a special dinner for the person who's birthday it is. We also celebrate with a cake as well but usually a home baked one.
